The Eulerian equations or Eulerian gyro equations of motion for the rotation of a rigid body. They are differential equations in the principal axis system with angular velocity \ vec \ omega as a variable and the principal moments of inertia I_1, I_2, I_3 as coefficients.Euler's equations are not to be confused with the Euler angles, which describe the orientation of a body-fixed coordinate system with respect to a spatially fixed coordinate system.
